Tuition aboard your own yacht

Formal certified training alone does not always cover your requirements.

We specialise in offering training and advice suited to your needs, whether it be close quarters boat handling, sail setting, spinnaker handling or navigation, together with all types of electronics.

Additionally, you will benefit from a better understanding of your craft’s systems and handling characteristics.

You can enjoy the benefit of specialised tuition with your regular crew, family or even one to one.

RYA Practical courses may also be taken aboard your own yacht.

We offer: ICC, SEVNI, Competent Crew, Day Skipper, Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster Preparation.

Prices: £130 per day for your qualified RYA Instructor + food and any unusual travel costs.

Assisted Passages

The first trip as Skipper across the channel can be quite daunting. We can come as ‘crew’ allowing you to make all the decisions but being there as a sounding board and back up.

Likewise, it is reassuring to have a professional on board whilst you become familiar with all the new equipment and different handling characteristics of your new yacht. Having help whilst moving from the brokers yard to your permanent berth can be invaluable.

Prices: £130 per day for your Yachtmaster Skipper + food and any travel costs.
